Article From Abby Dizon

From waterfalls to flowers, New Jersey is filled with breathtaking scenery. The purpose of our poster is to not only showcase this scenery, but to reinforce the importance of protecting it. The pictures used in the collage range from ones taken in our backyards to places such as Duke Farm and Alstede Farm, that serves the purpose of showing off nature’s beauty. We made it a point to use both variants of where we can see the true allure of the outdoors to show that you don’t have to go far to enjoy our state’s nature. One of the main features that we decided to include in our poster was the photo of the sunflowers (taken at Alstede Farm) imposed on the picture of the young girl. It symbolizes that it is up to us to preserve nature and ultimately keep the Garden State green.
